Marina district, where is situated our bed and breakfast, offers beautiful views in which time seems to stand still; here life goes on busy through many craft stores and small shops of Sardinian typical products and the most renowned Cagliari trattoria such as Lillicu or Serafino or the legendary La Stella Marina di Montecristo. In our own building there is the restaurant where you can taste the sushi and creative dishes of the famous chef Luigi Pomata, up the viale, the delicious dishes of the highest quality Corsaro restaurant. In Marina you can enjoy the archaeological trail located below the Sant’Eulalia church, which enables you to jump between the phases of the oldest history of Cagliari.
In Marina live lot of artists, writers and filmakers, the district is devoted to art galleries such as Spazio P, Suoni e Pause, the Bacheca and to literary cafes like Café Savoia, Café Barcellona and Manàmanà and every year there is the wonderful and exciting literary festival "Marina Cafe Noir."
At few steps from b&b Ca'del Sol you can reach the Bastione Saint Remy with its panoramic terrace where you could enjoy breathtaking sunsets views, the Port of Cagliari in front of the Via Roma promenade where you can sip an aperitif at the Cafe Torino or sitting at the Cafe Roma under the elegant arcades overviewing the Golfo degli Angeli. The shopping streets are all around our bed and breakfast Ca' del Sol: Via Roma, Largo Carlo Felice, Piazza Yenne, via Manno and via Garibaldi where are located all the prestigious fashion brands.
Ca 'del Sol guesthouse is just a few meters from the Hotel Regina Margherita where there are important meetings and conferences.
The Stations of the FS and A.R.S.T. are at about 500 meters, from there you can decide to explore the south of Sardinia or join other major cities of the island as Sassari, Iglesias, Oristano and Nuoro, or the touristic resorts of Villasimius, Costa Rey and Pula.
The white sandy beach of Poetto and the enchanting and wild Sella del Diavolo promontory is only at 10 minutes by bus and the bus stop is at only 50 meters. Poetto offers all the best facilities for bathing in establishments such as the Lido, D'Acquila, Emerson.
Cagliari Elmas International Airport is at only 20 minutes by bus shuttle from our bed and breakfast, where airlines such as Ryanair, Lufthansa, EasyJet, TUIfly, Meridiana and BritishAir land.

From the Airport:
Cagliari Elmas Airport is only at 6.6 km faraway from our B&B. Taxis cost €18-20 and the journey takes about 10 mins. You can also catch the train from the airport. Trains stop outside the airport every 20 mins (last train leaves at 21.00). Train tickets cost €1.30 from the ticket machine at the airport stop.Trains stop at Cagliari Central railway station (about at 600m from the B&B).
Cross the main road (via Roma) and continue walking for 600m with the sea on your right hand side.
You will come to the stone steps at Viale Regina Margherita.
The B&B is located in the apartment block at the top of the steps on the left hand side.
We can provide an airport pickup service for just €20.00 for up to 4 people (booking is advisable).

Driving car from all the Cagliari outside-mainroads you should follow the main sign to Cagliari > Porto > Via Roma. When you'll be in the city centre just to follow Castello > Viale Regina Margherita.
It takes 15 mins drive.

About where to park, you can wait for a free (white lines) or payable (blue lines) parking place in front of our building. Usually arriving between 2/4 PM and after 10PM is more easy to find park.
However, there is a huge underground payable secure parking in Viale Regina Elena just 1Km far from our house. You can also, park at the Port of Cagliari paying about 50 eurocent per hour.
